KHA Public Housing

KHA owns and operates 100 public housing rental units. These duplexes are located in Kelso, Washington. Rent is approximately 30% of the household's monthly adjusted income. Public housing duplex communities have waiting lists with various waiting times.

KHA Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers

KHA administers rent assistance to approximately 280 households in Kelso, Washington using Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Section 8 helps low-income residents pay rent for approved private rental units.

ATTENTION:
Beginning February 20, 2012 the Kelso Housing Authority will close the waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.

The Chinook - Shelter Plus Care
KHA oversees The Chinook, where individuals with disabilities who are experienceing homelessness have the opportunity to recieve housing and support.

The Columbia Apartments
KHA oversees affordably priced apartments at the Columbia for individuals with disabilities.
