As of February 20, 2012 the waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program is closed.

CFR 982.206(c) If the PHA determines that the waiting list contains an adequate pool for use of available program funding, the PHA may stop accepting new applications, or may accept only applications meeting criteria adopted by the PHA.
Administrative Policy 4-II C. Closing the Waiting List The PHA will close the waiting list when the estimated waiting period . . . reaches 24 months for the most current applicants.



The following waiting lists will remain open until further notice:
1. Public Housing Kelso Homes
2. Public Housing Cowlitz Villa (Senior 62+ Property)

Applications for lists 1 and 2 are available at the Kelso Housing Authority Main Office at 1415 S. 10th Avenue in Kelso, and on the Housing Authority's website.
