Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO TURN IN WITH THE APPLICATION FORMS?

A: You will only need to turn in the completed application forms. All data for each household member must be completely filled out. Don't forget your address!

Q: WILL I NEED TO BRING MY IDENTIFICATION?

A: No. The Kelso Housing Authority does not require your picture ID or Social Security Card at the time of application. These items will be added to your file when you are invited to participate in the program.

Q: HOW LONG IS THE WAITING LIST?

A: The Kelso Housing Authority has 2 rental assistance programs. You can apply for both programs using the same application forms if you wish.

The Public Housing waiting list does not limit the time that participants living in the Public Housing Duplexes can stay. So the waiting list does not move unless one of the participants moves out of a Duplex. This creates a vacancy and the next eligible applicant is housed. This waiting list does not have a specific wait time.

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is approximately 2 years long at the Kelso Housing Authority.
